I have not truly known what I wanted to do in life for at least seven years, if not my whole life. My friends all seemed to be heading towards their dreams once they finished school (one of whom you may read his blog at http://pascaldurban.wordpress.com) while I was stuck at the beginning still pondering what went wrong and why.

I decided that travelling might help me find what I was looking for. I traveled all over the globe, working where I could and doing everything I could do, never stopping even to take a break. But it was to no avail. The only choice I had was to head back home with no dreams and little to no hope.

However, some many months after returning home, I was lazily sitting on my sofa watching a TV show when something amazing happened. A thought just struck my mind like a blinding flash of bright light. I do not know why or where it came from, but the effect was crystal clear and lasting. It was as if someone had burnt these words across my eyes and it was all I could see.

“I need to study physics”.

And so it began…

This blog will chronicle my quest into the realm of science and physics!

This sounds pretty familiar, I was in a decent job, but I hated it, and I always knew I wanted to study science but never applied myself to it.

I’m studying now, and am a lot poorer for it in terms of cash, but I’m much happier. The dream now is to eventually undertake a PhD and become a research scientist, fingers crossed all goes well

    Good luck with the studying!
